Miami police search for driver involved in fatal hit-and-run

“This is a human being. This is somebody’s loved one, somebody’s mother, somebody’s grandmother,” said a Miami Police detective as he urged the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident to do the right thing and come forward. A 71-year-old woman was killed in the car crash, but the driver who caused the accident fled the scene in a pickup truck.

Man’s death blamed on nursing home’s misuse of antipsychotics

In 2005, the FDA gave a serious warning to health officials suggesting that there had been a significant increase in the number of patients with dementia who had died suddenly. The increase in sudden deaths was linked to the misuse of antipsychotics.
