Multiple crashes cause multiple injuries

Several people in Florida were injured in a series of car accidents that occurred along the turnpike on April 3. The accidents happened nearby Stuart, at Mile Marker 126 on the Florida Turnpike. At 2:55 pm, local media reported that the turnpike was closed due to two separate crashes. By 3:40 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol reported that a third accident had forced them to close the turnpike lanes at the Indiantown Road Exit.

Driver out on bond after allegedly hitting tourist with her car
